NPC Regions

NPCs are default enemies provided by the system. NPCs refer to characters in the NPC Region and the monster army around the castle. Today, we are going to talk about the those in the NPC Regions. Some of them are pirates, while others are from the empire army, and they occupy the forest, desert, and cities. Different NPCs have different abilities.

 
I. Northwest of the continent -The Moon Corner
 
NPC Region: Ice-covered Village
Located in the northern wastelands, it is cold and desolate here. Refugees of prolonged wars traveled here in the past and created the Ice-Covered Village. It is a pure fairyland where people can escape disputes and conflict and enjoy a happy life.
 
 
 
NPC: Icy Fleet
Although they traveled here to escape war, these people were not escaping hard work. They stayed abreast of the current situation, and even built their own fleet that patrols the skies above the Ice Covered Village. But few people know about the mysterious secret that lies buried deep beneath the thick ice.
 
NPC Region: Outcast Canyon
It used to be the biggest mine canyon of the ancient world, a gorgeous natural environment, but it has long been abandoned. There are still numerous treasures here, buried in secret locations by the Warlord Arno.
 
NPC: Giant Sail Fleet
The Outcast Canyon is the Warlord Arno's treasure bank, and he sent his Giant Sail Fleet to ceaselessly patrol the region, preventing any invasion by the empire's intelligence agents.
 
NPC Region: Tomb Maze
Burial ground of monarchs and royal family members of the ancient dynasties, as time passed, this location has been gradually forgotten by the people. The last servant guarding the Tomb is aged and frail, unable to defend the graves against robbers. Except for a central stone tablet, the maze has been all but destroyed.
 
NPC: Gold Tooth Fleet
The character named "Jason" is not a man. The name is just a cover, a front to deceive other players as to his real strength. The ancient tomb was destroyed by Jason's cannons, and has no become the base for a rogue camp led by Jason.
 
NPC Region: Phantom Tower
Located at the far end of Moon Corner, Phantom Tower was said to have been built by ancient Erl immigrants to the New Continent. It is protected by the scared ghost fleet; no living person can get close to it.
 
NPC: Green Phantom Fleet
A fleet controlled by the phantoms of the once-living. If someone breaks into the forbidden place, the fleet will take their violent revenge.
 
Arno's Fortress
The territory of the most powerful warlord Davis Arno. It is impossible to earn an honest living in this place, and although Arno provides his taxes to the empire, at the same time he has built himself an impregnable fortress to safeguard his personal power. In this region, his military power far outstrips the imperial army.
 
Arno's Fleet
Led by Davis Arno, it is a cunning fleet. Never using head-on tactics or fighting directly with the enemy, this is a trademark of their cunning leader. Those that know Arno all agree he deserves his nickname, "The Old Fox".
 
The national Deity Church Cathedral is located in the northwest corner, and plays host to many people who come here to pray. The church believes in the Deity God and advocates ancient doctrines. They also dominate the important crystal trade, and it is the biggest crystal bank in the universe.
 
 
II.Northeast of the continent, Forsaken City
 
NPC Region: Shadow Altar
Nobody knows when this mysterious religion appeared, but it has become extremely popular with ordinary people, especially the poor, who call it the Shadow Church. It has accepted a large number of unfortunate people by providing them with clothing and food as well as books. The Deity Church is uncomfortable with the actions of the Shadow Church, but it is outwardly reputable.

 

 
NPC: Oblique Cross Fleet
According to the legend of Moody, the saint oblique cross is a symbol of the Shadow Church; all Shadow Altar's bear this strange cross. The Oblique cross saint Fleet is very powerful, but they are known for under-hand tactics. They are always on duty, protecting the Shadow Altar with eternal vigilance.
 
 
III.Central Land - Sun Plain
 
NPC Region: Iron Bell Prison
In it's early stages the Iron Bell Prison only locked up general prisoners. The hot climate combined with an impenetrable lava river surrounding all sides means that the prison is only accessible by air. Prisoners have no way to escape this fiery dungeon.
 
Iron Bell Fleet
A division of the Imperial Guard Fleet, it is named because of their special mission and renowned cruelty. Prisoners in the Iron Bell Prison are sentenced to death, guarded without rest and imprisoned in a living hell.
 
Thunder Plain
All year round, airships are struck by thunderbolts from electric skies, and so in response, the Natural Institute created a Lightening Protection Tower to solve the problem. Using a small Holy Crystal to hold the tower up in the air, it is the only building on the plain. Because of the safety it offers, airships can safely fly under it's protection.
 
Tower Guardian Fleet
The Tower Guardian Fleet is in charge of security for the Lightening-Protection Tower, as well as the small holy crystal used to hold up the huge tower. As the crystal is attacked by the thunderbolts all the year, it already has the thunder attribute. It is very important not only because of its thunder ingredient but also because of its function as protector of the plain.
 
Sunset Gravel Bank
It is always sunset at the Sunset Gravel Bank. It is an important crystal production location, and the Deity Church has secured monopoly rights to exploit the earth here. Although pirates still seek for their fortunes here, their looting will be short-lived.
 
Bruce Fleet
The pirates who used to exclusively mine Crystals at the Sunset Gravel Bank are from a pirate fleet led by the "Black Baron"--- Bruce. Since peace was established there, the pirates have been lazy and unoccupied. However, they hark back to the days when their heroes would bring excitement to life, stealing crystals and living the life of their dreams.
  
IV. Southwest of the continent - Diamond Plain
 
NPC Region: The 13th Western Market
It seems to be an ordinary business market, but actually, it is an underground black market filled with illegal trading and crime, under the charge of a cruel and ruthless gang leader. After a fruitless struggle for official control, it became a wild and ungoverned outer zone.
 
Unknown Bandit Fleet
The Unknown Bandit Fleet is as mysterious as its master. Established to launch attacks against fleets in the 13th Western Market, whether imperial, merchant or bandit fleets,   nobody knows any details and so it is just labelled "Unknown".
 
Ballard Family Airport
This is a large privately owned airship mall and has a glittering reputation that extends across the empire. The Ballard family made a fortune starting in the airship business, and have contributed to the advancement of airship technology and research over the years. Aerosol power is a product of their scholarly approach to business.
 
Ballard Fleet
This is the common name for all airships belonging to the Ballard family. The family Lord Kohl likes to call it his "Dream Fleet"as it was produced by the Empire's youngest and most famous airship expert. At present the main Ballard Fleets only undertake defensive missions to protect their own interests.
  
Ghost Ruins
An ancient sacrifice hall, said to have been created by the Erl's early immigrants when they firstly arrived on the New Continent. People came here to pray, but after a thousand years of war, nothing remains but a ghostly silence within the ruins of its former glory.
 
Ruin Guardian Fleet
Those unfortunate to have met the Ruin Guardian Fleet are united in their terror. Appearing only at nights, the fleet emits a ghostly green light. It is said that the fleet was created by the souls of the first immigrants, forever charged with a duty to protect the Ghost ruins from attackers.
 
Breeze Harbor
A small airship station, located in the warmth of the southern mainland, it is a essential stop-off point for travellers to the south-east, and as such is a prime location for illicit trade and criminal activities.
 
Oblique Alliance Fleet
The Oblique Alliance is the biggest alliance of the Cursed Temple. As Breeze Harbor is the only haven for travelers en route to Paradise Island, pirates on Paradise Island like Baron have a close relationship with the Cursed Temple.
 

V. Southeast of the continent - Paradise Island
 
NPC Region: Federal Acropolis
A federation of cities coordinated by some small towns, this organisation is highly developed and responsible for the spread of culture and development of science in the area. The Imperial Academy of Sciences is located here.
 
NPC Region: Chain Forest
A unique floating field created by the Nature Institute, supported by various degrees of crystals. It starts from a point in the ground and grows up in spiral order. Because of the good air high above, the trees of the Chain Forest flourish and produce the best timber in the New Continent.
 
NPC: Byron Fleet
The Byron Fleet is home to bandits, just like the Bruce Fleet. Seizing control of the Chain Forest through military conquest, the Byron Fleet is constantly at odds with the Bruce Fleet, each trying to prove their prowess and establish their authority.
