Neutrality and Join a War
1.Neutrality
"Neutrality" is a good choice if you want to avoid wars. Under the "Neutrality" state, other players are unable to attack the fleets inside your castle; however, your castle may be directly occupied if someone attacks it. Basically, under the "Neutrality" state you may lose your castle but not all of your army.
2.Join a War
Under this state, a fierce wolf will be born and a future military territory will be built when you Join a War. You can declare war on other city lords as well as occupy their castles; however, becoming a super wolf isn't easy. You have to attack a lot of enemies and you won't get anything unless you join a War with your enemies.
3.Switch to "Neutrality " or "Join a War "
After you choose "Join a War", you can't switch it to "Neutrality" right away. You have to wait for certain amount of time.

4."Join a War " Setting
